“Leo and I have been friends for over 25 years, so you can only imagine the excitement both of us share in working together at Stab’s,” Kimball said. “Leo's experience along with his passion for Baton Rouge is a perfect fit.”

I am actually quite shocked Leo landed back in Baton Rouge. I thought for sure he would find something in New Orleans or the Northshore.

I was thinking maybe somewhere like a Miami or Houston. A larger out of state market. Nonetheless, good for him. I wish him the very best.

He's always treated our family very well.

Good for him.

His mom lives in Miami but he was not leaving Louisiana. Although he has spent time in other larger markets, no one would know him there. It's the same reason to came back to BR after less than 18 months after getting a better job within the DFRG company in Dallas 10 years ago.

They need a lot of help there. Probably the worst dining experience relative to cost / value that I’ve ever had.

Thanks for this. I was considering going there this weekend to test it out and was coming here to see what people thought. Guess I'll wait it out.

Will he get fired for "stabbing" cute waitresses there also?

Well since that wasn't why he got fired in the first place, I would say no.

I worked there for 9 years and managed for Leo for 4 of those years. Its not too often I can say without a shadow of a doubt I know more about that restaurant, Leo and the wait staff than anyone else on this entire board.

I was there before, during and after Dallas and he was VERY different from that point on. If I had to bet, the waitresses idea of hitting on them was not him hitting on them. If a girl decided to actually look good at work one day, yes, he would complement them. There were only a handful of girls he would hang out with after work and only reason for that is because they were fricking his friends. I am not saying the man is a saint because he isn't, but he is not how you are trying to describe him.

I can guarantee you the BS that people were alluding to were not the reasons he got fired.

He got fired because he was the highest paid GM in the company (after getting a raise to be the GM at Del's Dallas 10 yrs ago then another large raise when he became regional manager of 2 of the worst Sullivans in the company. Then they closed those stores, Houston and Austin so he went back to just GM but kept the raises) and they are cutting costs of the Sullivan's brand in order to sell all the Sullivans. They also fired others around the company, cut ad expenses and shut down ringside besides Fridays before home games.

This is not true in why he left the first time.
