What’s your definition of can’t miss? And what day are you looking at?

Parrain’s is a definite can miss.

Chimes is hard to beat on game day. Get there early if you want to do that, especially if it’s raining. That will knock out most of the roof top.

Roberto's River Road Restaurant... a little out of the way but very good.. LINK

Roux Creole, Louisiana Lagniappe are great too.

Parrains and the Chimes are solid

As many have said, cannot go wrong with Chimes especially if you will be close to campus.

A couple other recommended spots around town: Elsie's or Mansur's (it's a little more like $25-30 per entree)

Parrain's order The Whole Shebang and a dozen chargrilled oysters. Thank me later for the food baby.

Heartily agree with Parrain's but if you plan on going Friday evening expect a 1-2 hour wait. Everyone wants to go there.

Other good alternatives are Roux 61 and Willie's.
