We have never been to Elsie's Plate and Pie or Overpass Merchant. Any other new places I should be considering for dinner on Thursday night?

Merchant is solid, what kind of scene or food are you looking for?

Speaking of K Street, ate there a few weeks ago, had speckled trout and it was very good but the weird thing was it was SOOOOO DARK in there we had to turn on our cell phone flashlites to read the menu.

Haven't been to Rocca yet but have never been disappointed at Overpass, Elsie's, or Eliza's.

Both are great. Know that kids aren't allowed at Overpass Merchant after 5pm if that's a factor for you.

My wife and I love both Elsie’s and Overpass. As others have said, you can’t go wrong with either.

I've tried to eat at Elsie's 3 different times, but the wait was over an hour every time. They must be doing something right

We are actually kid free this weekend, so anything is fair game.

That 5pm rule is the reason haven’t been able to try Overpass yet, so I’m thinking we may go there since we have the opportunity. Can always try Elsie’s or the other recs when we come back down for Bama baseball series next month.

Thanks guys!
