well shite.... guess i shoudve let it age a bit. I've never seen it before, went to whole foods a couple weeks ago and thought i'd give it a shot.
Heading to NOLA tomorrow to watch a friend run the 1/2 ironman w/o a swim
will be heading to whole foods and will pick up another 6er. Question, does it have to age in the fridge or can it just be on the shelf?

Shelf is ok for 1-2 years. Any more and you'll need a wine fridge or cellar.
I don't think they're open tomorrow but i saw today that atien's deli on magazine has 2010 Bigfoot.
You didnt do anything wrong drinking them. They're great fresh too. It can be fun to see the difference some age will give them.

well, i only had 3 of them so i'll let the other 3 hang out in the fridge for several months.
Is it because they are a barely wine ale is why they taste better aged.

It's OK, but I prefer the Brooklyn Monster. Stone Old Guardian is a good one as well.

Souther tier backburner is also a good one.

I prefer the SN more. More in-your-face hops than Brooklyn.
