I use my debit MC all the time, and cash and check obviously.

Visa gives them the best rates, so they use it to keep the prices low.

That's the main reason I didn't sign up. I have a cap one MC that I get cash back on. I didn't want to spend $200 on my debit visa there once a month. At the time I think they only took Amex but were about to switch to visa.

I save far more using my debit than I get in cash back on my credit card. In addition, I have an Executive membership that gives me a percentage of what I buy back, as well...

Just sign up for a Chase Freedom or Freedom Unlimited or both. Freedom offers 5% about once a quarter during the year. Unlimited offers 1.5% back on every purchase. Can also get the Costco Visa card that offers 2% back on every Costco purchase and 4% back on Costco gas.
