Degas, you better edit that if you know what's good for you.

You didn't pick up on the fact that it was absolutely and unequivocally tongue in cheek?

Damn, I need more class...But, as an Outback & OG patron I can at least still look down on people who go to Ryan's & GC.

exact-a-mundo, my friend ..

btw, i really like your list and agree with everything .. i see it looks like george's is about to expand the patio out about four feet ... i was there a few fridays ago and the place was busting at the seams ... he needs to drop the half-hearted attempt at a kids play area and fashion another patio on that side ..

khaled has got to be doing something over there. he was making a killing at tex mex, but no patrons at arzis...every now and then i'll see someone in the drive thru. his brother used to be a bookie, but he passed away years ago.

i wish we could get some decent places over in the ralphs shopping center.

no shite? I usually go there once a week for lunch... Always get food instantly cause no ones there. Decent meal but the entire building looks straight out of the 80s. Also they don't serve alcohol... I've oft wondered how they stay open...

Skillet, i agree with most of your wish list, except for :

popeyes, workers who give a shite

IMO, Jones Creek Popeyes is the best in BR. The evening shift are a bunch of dudes from New Orleans that act like they give a shite, always are polite and courteous, and actually get your order right. AND ... if ever they're out of something (very rare) or you have to wait a few minutes (also rare, and a short wait if it happens) ... they make the shite right.

My wife says it literally night and day (pardon the pun) when it comes to the daytime crew, though.

I went to the Burger King on Jones Creek yesterday for the 1st time in a long time and they seem to have gotten better too.

here's another wish for my list...reopen the pizza hut on g o'neal. yeah i know, another pizza place. but this was the 1st, and i used to like it years ago before it went to shite.

I saw they changed the roof on the pizza hut about a month ago .. but it is still closed .. Larry Lundy lost all of his pizza huts .. stopped paying franchise fees and depositing FICA/SS deductions at the bank .. I understand the Lafayette area franchisee is taking over .. heard he was good ..

that'd be awesome if they cleaned the place up & reopened....a good ole pizza hut pizza with a cold draft beer brings back fond memories.

Well. The ghost told me a few weeks ago that Sunday was their last day. People were in there checking out movies and the ghost was telling them they didn't have to brin them back. He said he might go to millerville to work. I haven't been back since then-but maybe he was lying? He had told me a few weeks before that dish network had bought them back. I might go by there soon and get the scoop.
