The original rosé is Tavel - AJ Liebling's ( ) favorite wine.
Costco has been selling a respectable Tavel this spring for about $15.

Just for the hell of it picked up three from Keife's yesterday.
Tried a new one they just got in . . . County Line from Anderson Valley a pinot rose'. Enjoyed it.
Picked up another two that are in my regular rotation: Commanderie de Peyrassol and Cuvee L'astree Rose' de Loire (Chateau Soucherie).
All of the above are in the $20 range but Keife's has good ones between $10 and 20.

Hogwash. We've been through many many bottles this summer.

Only NYC and new Orleans used to get allocations but now Charleston has j joined the fray. It's in a lot of restaurants if you want to try it. It's Spanish and slightly bubbly. And hard to spell on a phone

I haven't been sold on any bubbly ones yet. I got my elk cove and I'm happy. 2012 was better though.
