Anybody know anything about Krab Queezs that opened at the old Louie's on State?

The benefit of having daiquiris is listed on its own line, so they have that going for them.

From KQ FB:

Stumbled across their Instagram the other day. I’m sure they’ll do fine for the area. Both the people who live there and the out of town LSU students.

What happened to Louie's? I was a bi-weekly regular '93-'96.

It simply moved further down to where Wendy’s used to be.

Ate at a similar place in Miami called CrabMan 305 and loved it. Going to check this place out tomorrow.

I offer this Hail Mary for the mercy for the soul of the paradigm in anticipation of his impending death.

Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen.

Just got finished eating. Had a huge box of snow crabs, shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn, & boiled egg -- all in their garlic butter sauce, +’a hot sausage “poboy” (topped with lettuce, tomato, and spicy mayo on a soft roll) and Cajun rice (which was very spicy). Everything was delicious and I will be a return customer.

Is the garlic butter sauce some combination of butter and butter-like substance, or is it actually all butter?

I'd expect my po boy and cajun rice to look like that in Delaware but not a seafood restaurant in S. Louisiana.

I take it you’ve never had a poboy from Seithers?

As for the question regarding the butter, I think it was actually margarine, but I’m not certain.

I helped put up the signs inside and out on that place.

There is another one located on Gus Young. They are originally out of Houston.

Have not ate there yet but I have only heard good things about it.

They’re a “Low Country Boil” specialty restaurant. That’s about it.

Seems an odd business plan for both areas.
