OP, I am being sent a Blueberry Swirl Cheesecake from Cotton Blues via Goldbelly. I've had Cotton Blues before from Rouses before I moved out of state, and they are pretty damn good. Never had them shipped from Goldbelly tho, so I'll let you know how it is.

I was gifted a two pack last year. They were fantastic!

When my wife had COVID over the summer, a friend sent us some really good soups, pastrami and rye from a Jewish deli. Of course, that’s stuff that holds up well under shipping
It also has to be something you can replicate in a home kitchen.
A good, world renowned pizza is usually made in a wood burning oven, so if you don't have one, you won't have as good a product.

I wanted to get some from Pequod's but I'm not sure it would come out the same as in house and don't want to be disappointed
Pequods is my our favorite from Chicago. Goldbelly had a deal for FREE shipping right before Christmas so I ordered us a couple. I was pretty impressed with the way it heated up...even the burnt cheese crust turned out well.

I ordered a couple of Lou Malnati’s pizzas about 6 months ago. They were fantastic.
I put one on the big green egg w/ indirect burner, came out so much better than the other one I did in the oven.

2 frozen pizzas for 70 Gourmet Mack and cheese serves 4 99$ Short rib Shepard’s pie serves 145$ I’m not cheap by any means but this isn’t for me
I order my lou malnatis pizzas from Taste of Chicago (I’d imagine the pricing is about the same as goldbelly) and it’s something like $70 for 2 pizzas shipped, $80 for 3 pizzas, $90 for 4 pizzas, $100 for 5 and $110 for 6.
It’s only worth ordering if you buy 6 at a time.

I got the pastrami and corned beef kit from Katz's with all the sides.
I wanted to get bagels too with shmear but so expensive for that.
I'm wary to try a lot of it.

Ordered Lou Malnatis earlier this week; the pizzas will be arriving Friday. Regarding my previous order, Joe’s > DiFara

Also a heads up, if there is an Albertsons by you, they have the Gino's East frozen pizzas for $8 or $9 usually, they come out pretty good.

The Lou Malnati's pizzas arrived today. Personally I thought it was terrible. I'd hardly call what I ate a "deep dish." It was maybe 2" thick.

Sucks was thinking about ordering

I live about 5 min. from an Albertsons in BR, but according to the "Grocery Locator" on their website, the closest place that carries them is in AL. Are you sure the Albertson's in BR has them? If so I'll go today.

I’ve had lou malnatti pizza and it was just ok. I mean, it was good. But def not like getting it there.

Before I ordered it, I watched a YouTube video that showed how they made it. They were piling on the cheese and meats and it looked fantastic. What I received looked nothing like that. A good sauce is essential to me and I didn't care for their sauce at all.

Yea they are much better in person, which is understandable.

The Gino's East one was the better of the two, not to mention about 1/4 of the price. I wouldn't go out of my way for either, though.
