I looked at the website. I can't believe you'd try to trick me like that.

Just keeping you on your toes.

Honestly, I'd go with Bin 77

Moderate beers, but wines, aps, and ambiance is probably condusive to what you're shooting for, or it would be myself.

At first I was intrigued. Then I started looking at the pictures from the events, and I figured it out.

Back to Mansur's. Maybe you could go there for dessert and get a table near the piano player there. Same deal as Gino's. Bring singles for requests. It's not as loud as the bar at Gino's with the piano player though I love going there myself. It's festive. You plannin' to propose on this date or somethin'?

Blend is also downtown. My favorite bar for drinks. They do a good job.

Lots of specialty drinks and very good wine selection. It is a few blocks from tsunami downtown.

I'll trade you restaurant advice for a Bell's beer.

Tsunami

One of the only places with a view. Overlooks MS river and plays "chic" music and "trendy" furniture on the outdoor balcony

No reservation needed for drinks.

I will bring you some if you are serious. Are you going to be in BR around LSU?

I'm going to stay as far away from Downtown this weekend as I can, but thank you sir. I still have a couple of bottles from a recent out of state business excursion. I've grown wise and now order them ahead of my arrival to guarantee success.

Getting back to this weekend in BR, expect some restaurants/bars to be an absolute madhouse.

Not yet. Just want to have a good time.

One thing I keep forgetting is that it will still be hot as all get out at 9 at night.

Might not be as awful as it has been. Got a "cool" front coming through.

Be prepared for crowds if you're coming this weekend. Things might not go as smoothly as you'd like.

even with a cool front, i find it hard to be romantic when my draws are soaking wet.. Have a good time inside, in the AC...

Texas Club. Nothing in BR compares to the majestic views of Donmoor Ave.
