Any fine dining establishments in Chalmette besides Rocky's?

I'm spending the day/night down there on vacation Saturday. I wanted to get out of the city for a couple of days. Rocky's is on deck for lunch.

Had an Rx rep presentation down there at Meme's a few months ago. I really enjoyed it. Had the chicken livers and grits as an app followed by some char-grilled oysters. For my meal I had their catch of the day, which was black drum, topped with crab meat. Seems like it would be your kind of place arse. They also had about 5 different specials for the day.

Too far. I'd have to cross the green bridge and navigate through Venetian Isles. It's probably closer by boat.

Old Arabi Eats in Arabi, not Arabi Food Store. It is on St Claude/St Bernard Highway.
I give a nod to Old Arabi Eats, but haven't had MeMe's for a full dinner.
ETA: Not sure you will be running back to either of these, but I was impressed when finding Old Arabi Eats.

fried green tomatoes, smoked salmon, housemade tartar sauce
Forgot about this one
BLTT(urkey), minus the tomatoes (I don't like fresh tomatoes). Carved roasted turkey and handcut fries.
Became my usual lunch place when they were open for lunch. Bread was made inhouse as well.

Old Arabi Eats is fantastic. The Arabi Grocery has very good roast beef poboys and muffalottas.

go to Old Arabi Eats on St.Claude just past Friscoville (like your heading toward the lower 9).
There applewood smoked bacon mushroom cheeseburge is freaking delicious...has homemade/cut fries and pickles on the burger.
Also they make a half decent old-fashion.
For lunch the next day, go to Arabi Foodstore for a Roast Beef Poboy or Potatoe Poboy (my favorite) or Muffaletta.
Arabi Foodstore is on Friscoville towards the river. (I believe intersection is Friscoville and Royal.
