went here yesterday.... its serviceable. I had the oyster poboy and a co-worker the shrimp. my oyster poboy was okay, my buddy's had a decent amount of shrimp. I got a crawfish pie to give it a try and it was pretty good. the bread is kind of a mix b/w soft and crispy. the outside was somewhat crispy and the middle was somewhat soft... Overall it was okay. i'd go back to try other things like the burger, roast beef or maybe the catfish poboy, but not b/c i had a great eating experience.
There is a small meat counter with steaks and stuff. Also have a few pieces of fish and some packaged salmon of some sort. They were selling orders of crawfish from here. They also do a special of the day. Yesterday it was shrimp and jumbo lump stew with a couple sides.
It didn't blow my socks off, but its decent food. Oh and ol boy Marty J sounds like he comes straight off the bayou.... had some white rubber boots running around in there too...

They did no marketing, no website, nothing. Martys gotta know better than that. Publicity is his "thing."

well they market the shite out of themselves on Ott's show, but thats it. No menu on the net or facebook. They showed the special on facebook yesterday. It boggles my mind that you open up a restaurant in this day and age and don't have plans for a website. I'm not saying you have to be able to order off of it, but give people a little insight to whats going on.
Also, have to do better than lining up oysters in an orderly fashion across the bottom of the bread. Oysters are supposed to be out and about right now... i'm not asking for a dozen oysters on a poboy, but more than 6 would be nice. He seemed like a nice guy, but the only reason i'd go back was to try other things. Not get an oyster poboy. Also, was disappointed in the meat "selection" . He has a case in between the size of alexanders and calandros on perkins and he has it seperated with meat and fish. Not sure if its b/c he is just opening, but there isn't a real selection to speak of. Its being marketed as having meat and fish to buy, but i'm not stopping to get meat or fish there until he gets a selection.
