Gotta go for work in a couple weeks, traveling with a co-worker.
We'll only have dinner Monday and maybe lunch Tuesday.
The guy I'm traveling with is pretty unimaginative and neither of us are looking for a white tablecloth place on the company dime.
Last time we traveled together, I talked him into Bacon Bros Public House in Greenville and he liked it.
Anyway - any recommendations for Buffalo? I'd prefer a good tap list and good food. We land around 5, so we could potentially go to Niagara Falls for somewhere interesting.

Lived in the area 25 years. No real go to spots. Anchor for wings is fairly over rated. Beer wise, meh.
If yo do go to the falls, dont waste your time on the us side. Meh is giving it too much credit.

Well, that sounds promising.
Is there a Chimes-ish type place, then?

Bar Bill’s for the best wings and beef on weck in the area.
Also enjoyed Dinosaur BBQ. Very good BBQ and a decent beer list.

Try a beef on wic, which is a roast beef sandwich on a salted bun.

beef on wic
Taught to me by a co-worker from Buffalo. He hipped me to joy of this sandwich, and I hipped him to the joy of Popeye's spicy chicken.

Duffs wings > Anchor Bar
Although I would go to both just for the experience and history. Plus I just love wings.

Yeah, I wasn't sure of the spelling. Charlie the butcher near the airport has a great beef on weck.

Toutant in downtown Buffalo is a southern place that is good. The owner is from Mandeville. Also, there is Tempo and Hutch's that is really good. Surprisingly Buffalo has really good food. There is nothing on the American side of the Falls besides Hard rock Cafe
