Any can’t miss restaurants between Uptown and the French quarter?

I’ll be in Nola Friday-Sunday and staying 2 blocks off bourbon (not sure exactly where on bourbon) every time I’ve been in the past it was for a football game but this is strictly an eating and drinking trip.
Seafood/regional fare preferably. Did some research on google and fins, peche, costera all look good, but looking for some local recs. TIA.

Thanks, so you wouldn't recommend Fin's or Peche?

For Uptown, I'd imagine Clancy's is a good bet for regional/creole. Pretty pricey however, not sure what you're looking to spend.
Had a meal there last weekend and everything was fantastic.

Both are great. Peche more laid back.

No object really, I'm not loaded by any means but i'm going over there to eat and drink. Haven't really gotten out of town much since CV hysteria started

If you're a whiskey/scotch guy then Clancy's has a great collection from what I saw.
I'd recommend a drink and appetizers if you're not looking for a proper meal but still want to go.
I see your staying near Bourbon St., not sure if it's worth going that far out of your way. But it's an option.

Peche is a good start. Everything on the menu is good.
