Announcement about the Jambalaya Calculator App:

As of today, the Android app will start showing a warning that the app was built for an older OS. Furthermore, you won't be able to download the app if you have a newer phone.
I don't have the knowledge of how to update the app to satisfy Google.
Tha app has hundreds of users. My apologies if this affects you.

I expected this and saved your apk a few years ago just for myself.
Others should do the same.
I don't really follow the app, but use it as a calculator for buying ingredients when cooking unfamiliar sizes.
I've put a lot of my inlaws on it for cooking. Those boys north of hammond forgot how nice it can be to cook for family and friends.
An inexperienced guy can cook a 20 gallon jambalaya and not screw it up using your app. That says a lot about how well it is made.

I would recommend going on Fiverr and hiring a freelance coder to update it for you

Rat, I will check on it. I think I still have the source code

Do you know how to update it to Google's liking?

I would assume it just needs to be compiled on the latest framework. I haven't looked at apps since this one.
I will check it out

It would be awesome if someone could port it to the iPhone.

Previously the hangup was paying the cost to publish on apple store. $250. Also must have apple devices to develop and I have none

The spreadsheet is fine
No need to develop that any further for free
Relax
Have a cold one and know you’ve done a masterful job on jambalaya ratios
Every pot I made from this recipe has been on point
