Andrew Zimmern from the Travel Channels "Bizarre Foods" and crew will shoot the show from 10am-1pm at the new Town square on North Blvd. Should be a great event to showcase Baton Rouge and help Capital Area United Way.

it's for his web show "appetite for life", not "bizarre foods" actually...and i think this has been posted a couple of times already.

Depends on who you ask that question in BR, and if they're over the age of 50 or not, or in the mindset of those over 50. You would be AMAZED at how many people still have no clue that there are food trucks in Baton Rouge. But then most of them don't use social media either. I like to refer to them as "The Great Unplugged"

I went...they were talking about Jambalaya. It will be interesting to see the show. Now they are off to Boutin's on Bluebonnet.

I used to go all the time for "business luncheons" - small group.
I can't recall one single time where I thought the food was even remotely fair.

I should have went, I wanted to go to BR today, but was too busy.
BTW did y'all see curbsides new Sausage?
Called The Porkduckin - Local pork/chicken n wild duck sausage basted in duck fat, thyme, roasted garlic n finished with lemon zest. It's topped with housemade creole potato chips, a cream cheese foam, hungarian smoked paprika and fresh chives.
