Looking for a local place to grab a beer and a great burger, barbecue, or otherwise on a pass through.

Breakfast- Ye Old Pancake Station. It's a must.

Amarillo is very supportive of local and chains don't tend to survive there.

Last time there we tried to go to big Texan. Hostess told us it was an hour and 45 minute wait.. we ended up going somewhere else. Forgot where, but it wasn’t anything To write home about.

No, will be gone by then. Headed to check on my ocean-front property in Arizona!

Five minute wait for a table. Ate the 16oz bone in rib-eye. Had a pint of their pale ale. Was great for a quick meal. Cool Texas cowboy vibe.

Big Texan is a must at least once. You just gotta.

There was no wait the day I went.
