I have to have this conversation with almost everyone I eat with. It's a protein. Not blood. Go eat your porkchop somewhere else.

Also, like some in this thread, as I get older I am moving more and more rare. I try to order "rare plus" at most places but will settle for medium rare.

I'm a 2 all day, and A1 (and various other sauces for that matter) has its place occasionally. Never on a great high quality cut though.

Prefer a 2 but I wouldn’t be mad if I was served a 3. 4 or 5 would be sent back if at a restaurant.
