Maybe because there was no Albasha in Mandeville to begin with.

Nothing has success at that location for some reason.

The only thing I can think of is how hard it is to turn back West on Florida Street. Admittedly, I never had a meal at this Albasha and pass this location damn near every day.

I found their plates to be pretty pricy but it was also way more food than one person needed

Will miss it as an option

That sucks. We probably got it a couple times a month. Was a great option for dinner with plenty enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

I told the owner of Kabob House in Metairie to open a location here since it’s so dank. He said he was looking at locations and that he wanted a building where he could have a conjoining mosque next door. Gonna be fire if it happens

Good They Sucked and was expensive.
Ive gotten food multiple times for there wondering if it was cooked that Same day.

Back in the Day Albasha in covington was great.
But then you slowly started noticing changes to each item.

Like the bread tasted fresh each day...But then it didnt.

Like the Musaka Meat. It tasted like it was made fresh that day.
Then, it started tasting like they made the eggplant / Potatos a week before and just assembled it with some meat sauce and Cheese.

They used to put pine nuts in all the teas.

Yeah. They started skimming and it shows and the mandeville location was straight trash.

Then one day there gyros were half the size and the price went up 1.00

It use to be great.

There Lebanese tea was still good though.
For 3.50 Still good
