As I sit here pondering my response I came to the realization that the old saying that you can’t argue with a fool is true. Any man (and I use that word loosely here) that has the time to make 133,000+ posts on this site alone has nothing better to do in their life and will go back and forth with you in perpetuity. You can't sell it to someone for resell , a restaurant or bar. Unless you REALLY need the cash, hold on to it. If you had to, you could go to a high end liquor store and ask if they had any of the VIP type customers that were on some type of waiting list to get a bottle. Its almost impossible to get in a restaurant. Someone has to drop off the list and you have to buy enough stuff from the vendor for them to "do you a favor" of selling it to you. Once you are on you get whatever your alloted once a year. Its surprising how little ( comparatively) it costs from the wholesalers. Louis XII is most expensive liquor I've ever bought , about 3000, but its readily available. Having it at a restaurant is like having a bottle at home, more of a status symbol.
