Understand your point, young man.... but there are a lot of things more important during the day than the Internet.

Prayers to MD.

That quote announces your age - grow up and be respectful to the greatest generation. Meridiandog cheers on this Father’s Day. I wish you my best!

Prayers sent, and Get Well Soon wishes

I'm not a regular over here and haven't really interacted w/MD much, but I do recall the time he was telling me about places in '50s Jackson MS, like some burger joint and bootleg booze supplier (state of MS was dry until '66) that was off West Capitol St (an area that was pretty deep hood by the '80s -- and hood don't get deeper than Jxn hood)

Get well soon Dawg -- looking forward to more stories!

Likely becauser you have never really been "sick", this is not intended as an insult but when facing down some serious issues reflection rather than posting does the soul a bit of good.

Here is to hoping a few more wins in Omaha gives you a bit of cheer my good man

It’s not a knock on him, I’ve enjoyed his posts... my mom has metastatic cancer, spent 8 months or so in hospital/rehab, had to learn how to walk again but could still text me and keep up my family’s FB.... She can text me during chemo. Just saying, if I was realy sick I would still need some distraction from my sickness and this site has a number of good people that might make me feel better and not think of being sick for a while.

I’m sorry for your family’s illnesses, but seriously, no poster on this site owes anyone anything. It’s anonymous message board. Your post is so bizarre.

Can we let this thread go now? This was not what MD wanted - for there to be a big discussion about his situation. I was just trying to give a quick update.

Sorry I made the OP.
