A very good use for your homegrown jalapeños (Pic)

From the Shaya cookbook: cherries jalapeños cilantro salad. This is a phenomenal recipe. Simple ingredients and the cherries are in season now.

Remove red onions. Replace with more jalapenos and you've got an excellent salad there.

What's the dressing?

Yes shallots. EVOO, lime juice and zest, seasoned rice wine vinegar, salt.

Specifically

Dressing:
3 Tbls EVOO
3 Tbls seasoned rice wine vinegar
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
1 Tbls lime juice

Salad:
2 lb cherries pitted. I tore them apart with my hands
2 shallots thinly sliced
1 or 2 jalapenos seeded and thinly sliced
1 cup cilantro
zest 1/2 lime
