Its not traditional chili and that's fine. I'm sure your version of chili isn't the way they made it 150 years ago either.

Number 2 gets a heck yea. Other two....
Our kid's daycare is in a high Indian pop area so our chili cook off recently got some pretty interesting takes on chili. Some good some not. But mine also won. I guess they also prefer traditional chili with brisket and a solid spice level to it.
