Grandma’s are watching the kids so wife and I decided to explore options for a casual date night. I searched but the most recent thread I found was from 2019. I was hoping to get current rec’s from people who have dined post Covid.

Fisher’s Upatairs was talked up a lot in the previous thread but we did not pack any dress clothes since this is a spur of the moment idea. Would shorts be ok here or should we look for other options?

Also, we are staying in Fort Morgan so any options closer to this side of the island would be preferred.

Sassy Bass is an option—not far from you

Fisher’s dockside would be fine if you feel like going to OB

Anchor bar is good but not sure of their Covid status currently

Best raw oysters in America. Poster on here runs the oyster farm about two miles from the restaurant, and runs the restaurant.

Since you’re staying in Ft Morgan, hit up Sunset Cork Room in GS. Nice hidden locals spot that’ll save 30 min commuting. You’ll enjoy the experience.
