Papa Kitchen — the Vietnamese/Chinese/soul food spot at 1900 N. Claiborne Ave. — has closed. Calls to the restaurant reveal that the main number has been disconnected. The restaurant’s highly rated vegan bánh mì and beloved Vietnamese rolls — spring, tofu, beef — are no more.

and

The Crazy Lobster, the Spanish Plaza seafood spot, has closed. The windows are painted over and the furniture is completely gone. The Crazy Lobster served traditional New Orleans dishes — jambalaya, red beans & rice with smoked sausage — and wild cocktails like a “bacon bloody mary” made of bacon vodka.

Also - looks like the partnership between The Franklin and Angeline has fallen through. Per an article in this week's Gambit, talks have broken off and no deal will be made. No word on what becomes of the Franklin's space.
