Damn. Early last week? Who said that? Thats pretty good.

Monday i read on here somewhere that they start evacuating Tues & open Sat.

Natchez Democrat saying they expect crest of 64'. 6' higher than '37 record. That is nuts.

Is the trigger not 1.50 anymore? Am I wrong, or does it look like the river will hit that tomorrow morning. Will they still wait until Saturday, or start opening it tomorrow?

A conference call involving the corp, state, levee boards yada yada yada was held yesterday. No time table was given at all. Just that the request was made to open, and that the request has neither been granted, nor denied.

The federal government can screw up a wet dream. I am amazed that Obama hasn't been more vocal on this issue. It has the potential to be his Katrina x10
