lost of red in the stands.. and look at uni's...

most likely a sugarbowl pic..... only time they would have had a lot of red 1960 or 61 seasons...

very likely photo from 62 sugar bowl

Keep in mind that Tulane and Georgia Tech were both in the SEC at this time. Also note that Alabama and Texas were ranked number one and two much of the season before Bama lost to Georgia Tech and fell to number 5 (Final) and Texas tied Rice 6 to 6 and fell to number 4 (Final). Ole Miss was number 3, LSU was number 7 ironically LSU also tied Rice that year 6 to 6. However, LSU beat Texas in the Cotton Bowl 13 to 0. So if you are keeping track Tulane played the number 3,4,5 and 7 teams in the "FINAL" 1962 AP Poll (which only ranked the top 10 teams). Oh Tulane went 0-10

Ironic.. but now Tulane is in the life boat.. and it is the one that is sinking...
