That really is excellent work. I'm not sure, but perhaps Rattlehead adjusted the opacity of RR to allow a touch of the wall to come through. Can you tell us your secret...Oh great Rattle?

here's my guess:
multiply over the wall, reduce opacity, perspective warp, curve adjust and maybe an art filter, but I can't ever remember those...

- Watercolor Art Filter
- Adjust Brightness/Contrast/Saturation/Hue to match
- Sandstone texture scaled to match wall
- Noise and blur to even out the texture a bit
