i think it would be different if i went the whole day with extra players.
i wouldnt even be asking in that case, because i know that no one would agree with me.
trust me, i went through it before. I didnt have a player in my active lineup that NO way benefited me, and i still lost all my stats

You are making this way too complicated. If someone else is affected - anyone in any way, then nothing should be changed; however we as human beings should be able to make corrections if no one else is at consequence.

That's exactly what ended up happening on my best league. People started actively looking for loopholes because I made a judgement call on something that went against the constitution. The league went to shite after that. I learned my lesson.

ive said this at least 3-4 times thoughout the years in these leagues, and nothing has gone to shite
and people were awarded what they were asking for in a few cases.

I'm still wondering what this could lead to...you guys are trying to predict the future but you're not being specific.
I have 0 to gain in this argument. E is acting like I am sucking up to Les, but E is the only person that I've actually met in this league. I I have 0 incentive to take Les's side. I'm just giving my opinion and asking for examples as to what could go wrong if we allow this specific situation to be corrected.

I look at it like this...Do I want to know I can read the rules and them be followed or do I want to hope they are adhered to?

That's just it. WHO KNOWS what it could lead to. I cam tell you from past experiences that tons of shite could happen. Following the written rule eliminates any chance of it happening.

shite if it were just a late lineup it wouldn't be an issue. There was an extra player on his squad after the trade went through and he forgot to drop someone. No one else was affected by him forgetting to drop someone and the dropped player was not in his lineup. Really I am tired of saying the same old shite. If you all want to be stubborn and set in your ways without bringing any logical argument other than "something unspecifically like this happend in another league and it went to shite" then there's really nothing to argue about.

This problem should never happen in this league again, not with the members we have.
We got a guy who doesn't sleep waiting for trades to go through to make sure his lineup is ok.
One who doesn't sleep at all and stares at his team all night.
One who wakes up before 8am every morning without the help of his wife, pays league fees, participates in drafts and never makes mistakes nor never will
