if we do away with being penalized for having too many players on our bench then what will keep us from having too many players on our bench???

i think this is a little different situation than me going a day or days with having extra player on my bench.

i dropped the extra player before any games even started. If u cant see the difference, there is no sense in arguing. I just hope it happens to you.

I dont recall you ever being on the side of the fence to let people have their points though Les.

Well except the time when Gyno was the effected person.

i never have been. Yet im 100% positive someone has had their lineups changed to reflect their missed points.

you know how many times ive uttered the words "guys you know this is setting a bad precedent"??? yeah, too fricking many.

rouge, for you to say that i have never said anything about this matter is just plain inaccurate. I dont know what else u want me to tell you. We've been playing in this league 3-4 years as well as a basketball league, i gurantee you i have probably said too much about this. Some of it has stuck, some times it hasnt.

this rule has been anything but black and white

I see the difference Les. But if we have it your way then every infraction would have to be looked at at an indivudual basis to determine how much a rule was broken and if it warranted application of the rule.

THAT would be a cluster frick. I feel that the only way to handle it is to clearly define the rule (it is right now fwiw) and adhere to it.

1. Thats childish.

2. If it did I wouldnt mention anything about wanting my stats back. If I made any mention I would say something to the effect of "frick, I frickED UP MY LINEUP AND HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT MYSELF"

3. I dont sleep past 8 am ever so I think I'm good.

I honestly dont recall anyone ever getting their points back.

And you and I agree here. Yet you still ask for the stats back.

so if u were in my position and woke up 4 minutes late to check your lineup, to find it illegal, and then dropped a player before any games would start, you wouldnt say anything??

i dont know who u are trying to kid. i think all 16 of the people in this league would say the same thing i am saying in this instance.

for those that arent in tdbbl, i put in a waiver claim for a player on the WW. the guy that i was dropping was then accepted in a trade with big port. i forgot to go back and drop the claim, bc i thought that cbs would not allow me to do that since i had the trade pending. that was the FIRST TIME that had happened as well, and nobody knew any better. so i put the guy back on my team and forced the trade through,a nd everyone but les was ok with it

There was no black and white rule in place for either instance too.

Yeah that one is different. If cat wanted to back out of the trade all he had to do was drop the scrub (Verajo) that was included. This was before the season started, but imagine if Cat noticed that he would be missing the ammount of games played if the trade went through on time. He could just drop someone so that it cancels the trade all together.

That's something that CBS really needs to fix.

I wouldnt ask for shite. I would curse at the situation but at the end of the day I would have no one to blame but myself.

I have been like this since about your age fwiw.

I wake up before the wife every weekend day fwiw, she doesnt tell me to wake up

The problem is not that you didnt go to seleep worrying about fantasy baseball....its that you didnt wake up worrying about it.

the discussion has been the locking of entire teams before the first game. we have wanted to give some flexibility for cases of injuries, players sitting out, etc.

as opposed to player flexibility that has been tyhe topic of many discussions, this is a lineup size restriction issue.

but i dont konw what i'm talking about becuase i'm not an active owner

that's the fantasy version of telling me that i throw like a girl

some bush league shite indeed, but why should i expect anything less?
