1 question though....if we do away with the rule that if you have too many bench players then the points for that day stand....whats to keep me from having too many players on my team?

yes, there was
i was first in the waiver order too and it cost me getting strasburg, so it wasnt a bullshite penalty or whatever like some of yall have said in the past

I told you last night that I would have let you get your points if I was playing you.
However, it affects more than just the team you are playing. It affects everyone that you are in the playoff race with.
Rondo has a valid point in that this pretty much says that a written rule can be flexible if your points are allowed. In the past, we have only used cases like this to adjust a ruling for the NEXT SEASON.
I agree that it's a tough break, and a shitty way to lose a day's worth of stats. But, it's hard for me to feel too much pity when you could have just rolled out the rack at 11:55 in the morning instead of 12:05 in afternoon.
If it comes down to a vote, I'm not sure which way I will lean, to be honest. I may not vote at all.

I really wish CBS would be more consistent. They let lineups stand as is if someone comes off the DL and becomes active, yet remains on your DL for a day or 2.
