Who are players you like and dislike this year?

Here's a few guys I like and others I'm not high on. I was going to title this "sleepers and busts" but I don't necessarily think the players I dislike will bust, I am just avoiding them for the most part.
Feel free to add your own.
QB like: Kirk Cousins, Min - I am usually not a big fan of quarterbacks that change teams, but I think he's a near perfect fit in that offense. Great WR, solid TE and a young explosive RB. I'm in on Minnesota's offense this year and think Cousins could be a top 5 QB in a league full of them.
QB dislike: Carson Wentz, Philly - I loved him going in to last year and ended up starting him early in the season. This year I think the Eagles come back to earth a bit. Not saying he will suck, but I don't think he is a top 3-4 QB like he's being projected. I would feel better waiting and scooping up Brees or Ryan who both seem to be going a lot later.
RB like: Derrick Henry, Ten - Demarco Murray is gone, and while Dion Lewis is a nice complementary back Henry is clearly the guy. Seems like we are back to drafting RB early again. If you buck that strategy Henry could be a good add as your #1 RB around round 4 or 5 if you're really lucky.
RB dislike: Kenyan Drake, Mia - I like the talent but hate the offense. He could be a valuable pass catcher, but he's currently being taking as a RB 2. I look at him more as a flex guy with upside.
WR like: Devante Parker, Mia - If I am wrong this year, I am never drafting this dude again. I hate their offense, but I believe in the talent. Currently he's being projected as a low 30s WR which IMO is just too low. If you get him as your 3rd or 4th receiver he could be a lotto ticket...or he could disappoint again but I am on board.
WR dislike: Alshon Jeffrey, Philly - like his talent, but he's currently going as a WR 2 and that's too rich for a guy who only had 57 receptions in 16 games last season. I would prefer someone I know who is going to be steady, not so up and down.
TE like: Tyler Eifert, Cincy - Health is the only thing that has held this dude back, and he appears to be healthy coming into the season. He's being projected as a low TE2, but last season was the #7 TE in points per game, If he's healthy he will take some pressure off Dalton and Green in what could be a sneaky good Cincy offense.
TE dislike: Delanie Walker, Ten - He's steady and I would be fine with him as my TE, but he's being ranked as a top 4 TE. I wouldn't waste a 4th, 5th or 6th round pick on him.

I don't know, Walker is good and consistent and is going around 6th-7th round. He is a hard TE not to target with his price and his consistency.
quote:
Delanie Walker (Ten, ADP 71, TE7) – Walker is the most underrated TE in the league right now, having rattled off four straight seasons with 800+ yards and five consecutive seasons with 60+ catches. Even at 34 years old, Walker has some potential room for growth with an innovative new OC Matt LaFleur replacing Mike Mularkey’s offense from the last few seasons. We also love that slot WR Eric Decker (83 targets) and RB DeMarco Murray (47) left town, and Walker could be the beneficiary of those targets in the middle of the field (Decker’s targets) and in the underneath areas (Murray’s targets). Per PFF, 49% of Decker's total targets came on routes from the slot last season while 52% of Walker's pass snaps came out the slot. Walker's interior usage was the eighth-highest rate among qualified TEs in 2017, and his usage from the slot could be on the rise. Walker has turned in top-eight fantasy TE figures for four-straight years, including finishes as the TE3, TE6, and TE6 in FPG in Marcus Mariota's first three seasons. Walker had only 2 TDs on 11 red-zone targets last season and averaged just 10.9 YPR, but we think more big plays could be in the offing since the offense will be catering to Mariota’s skillset with more play-action and shotgun usage.

in his defense, it wasn't until the back half of the season where he and wentz finally got on the same page, from then on he was pretty damn consistent. In those weeks before, they were just a hair off on some big connections that may have changed the outlook on him you currently have.

ugh....I don't think I can ride again, especially since from what I've read so far his camp has been less than impressive.

Alshon played last year w torn rotator cuff fwiw ftw. Actually like him to rebound
After seeing a draft over the weekend, I like these at their value
QB
Like: Luck and Brees (rd 8)
Dislike: Watson (rd 5) and piggy back off your Wentz (rd 6)
How?!
RB
Lotta value at RB
Like: Cohen, lynch, Ajayi - late rd values
Dislike: McCoy, Alex Collins - too early for me
Wr
Like: DT88, TY, josh Gordon - 1st rd, top10 talents going around 3/4
Dislike: Davante Adams, Smith schuster, ty hill - think they’re going too high tho won’t kill you
TE
Like: jack Doyle, joku, kittle - think all can return top 10 finishes
Dislike: no huge problem here, maybe reed bc of injury and Jimmy G

I almost said DT88. Went RB/RB and got him in the 4th after picking up Baldwin. I feel good about him this year.

Parker and Corey Davis can both get fricked this year
Posted on 8/13/18 at 11:41 am to Mr. Hangover
those are 2 drastically different players there
Parker is going into year 4 and hasn't shown much progress at towards becoming the WR1 most had hoped for. He may just be a guy with raw talent that just doesn't give enough of a shite to become a good WR in this league. Plus this offense may suck.
Corey Davis is coming off a largely wasted rookie season but I think its fair to put a lot of the blame there on a hammy that held him out of a lot of camp and then again later in the season. Still a talented WR and projected #1 in an offense on the up swing.

I know they’re ‘different’, but I had them both last year and kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting........
Not this year, fantasy football satan

Baldwin is a nice value in early drafts. People worried about the knee. If he's 100% he will be a beast
Posted on 8/13/18 at 12:00 pm to GynoSandberg
I like Baldwin, what is the prognosis on his knee?
Posted on 8/13/18 at 12:01 pm to GynoSandberg
G have you had a draft yet?
Is Baldwin falling?
I roll 2 this weekend, would love it if the fear is out there and hes dropped.

I have a tough time disliking Rodgers' #1 WR that managed to produce with hundley's garbage arse throwing to him. Yes TD aided, but volume should increase with rodgers' return. Round 2-3 seems fair

I can't pass him up with Jimmy gone and what he did with Hundley under center, even if hes mid round 2 that is value to me.
what I cant decide is if I want Adams or Thomas if that dilemma pops up.

I remember you and I talking about him before last year. I really liked him as a bounce back candidate.
This year in 1 league I have the top pick and I am really considering Leveon over him, simply because I trust him more. Tell me why I am wrong.

Baldwin went in the 4th rd.
Adams right outside the first at 14. His value will hinge on Cobb's health, also insert Jimmy, Geronimo Allison will see looks as the WR3. 117 targets last season for adams, Jordy's vacated 88 prob goes to Jimmy. Allison's 39 bumps as the 3rd option. Adams has been a big TD guy and now jimmy is there.. i dont hate adams just like other guys at that spot in the draft

loved Gurley the talent but didn't see that turnaround coming so quickly for the offense as a whole.

I don't think you are, I also don't think you can really pick wrong here assuming health. I probably like bell more given you know that receiving work isn't going anywhere.
