Woke up to a 20 burger from Ajayi Maybe I should literally sleep on Ajayi all season Don't think i'm playing him over Corey Davis or Robby Anderson again though

Same. I avoided this thread so not to look like an idiot after one quarter of play, but I did go to bed before halftime. Woke up with 20.2 from Ajayi and 10 from Philly D/ST. Not bad for a sloppy opening night.

Ditto. Just trying to convince myself if I would've played him, he would've put up about 6 points.

I said I wasn't picking him this season, but I ended up thinking he was by far my best option when it came to me. I got him mid draft. I also got Clement, just in case. I also have Breida and Mack on my bench, so I'm hoping one of those does solid enough for a flex.

Difference in this season and last for me, was last season I was depending on Ajayi as my RB2. I lucked into having Hunt though. This season Ajayi is a flex or spot play guy for me. So I'm good with that.

The bench is small in our league.
So I diversified on my bench strategy. With starters instead of back ups and 1 reach on IDP
Chub.

glad i started him.

it'll be interesting to see how Detroit's backfield looks. I have Kerryon, but will prob stick with Ajayi for now. got him in my RB2 spot behind Mixon, AB and Davante at WR, and Baldwin + Carson in flex spots. Don't see myself taking Baldwin out

Doug Pederson said Jay Ajayi handled only 3 first-half carries because #Eagles wanted to ease him in coming off foot injury. Had 12 rushes in 2nd half, gained 51 yards with 2 TDs. "Moving forward, we'll see him more."
