It's always about who's available to me. If you go in handcuffed with a "strategy" you're going to pass up awesome value. In my experience, there's almost always going to be 1-2 people in your draft that make a real reach on their pick in early rounds and all of a sudden a stud drops to you that never did in 99/100 mocks. Don't pass that up just because you think you need a certain position more. If anything, accumulate value and later trade for the things you need. The only thing I'm definitely doing is waiting on QB.
ETA: Also depends on your draft spot. If you are early in the draft then you should have an idea of who will be available, then plan accordingly after. If you're a late pick, there's really no point in projecting what you're taking until you see what everyone else grabs. You never know if the 3 fools in front of you start a 1st round QB run and let a stud RB/WR fall to you

I am planning on drafting all of the players who score the most points.

BPA is almost always the best route to go but I may load up on RB honestly. With the passing game taking over, finding consistent running help seems to get thinner with each year. I did one mock the other day where I ended up with Le'Veon Bell, Mark Ingram, Jeremy Hill and Alfred Morris. I was also able to land Brees at QB. I'd take that any day of the week.
Oh, and I'll probably draft two solid QB's to give me some trade ammunition down the road.

Yeah I think QB and WR are both deep. RB is thin as always, but not AS thin as the last couple years. RB early is probably the way to go, I just wouldn't grab the 9th or worse RB over a top 3 WR (which is the typical dilemma you'd be facing late in the 1st round this year)

RB first. I'm just going to trust Murray can do what he did behind the Cowboy's o-line, behind the Eagles o-line.

I'll post after any potential TD drafts are done... Haha. Going to be playing a bit different this year.

I usually like to have some type of loose strategy, but it's normally based on guys I'm willing to reach for, where they have been falling in drafts, and where I think they'll be taken in my league.
My strategy for the past several years has been getting a spot at the back end of the draft and taking WRs early, then waiting on a QB. Now, if Aaron Rodgers was sitting there in the 4th round, I'd obviously change up my strategy. You have to be able to identify value.
I think the BPA is a cop out answer that fantasy experts spew so they don't have to
answer an open ended question, and then it's regurgitated by everyone else.

The latest I will be picking is 5th. Def getting a rb then high end wr and my second rb at the turn. Rb's get a pt for every 5 yards in our league and its ppr. I may go rb, rb, then grab the best wr available, plus I get to keep Greg Olsen in the 10th round.

I write (questions) and produce (topics) the entire fantasy segment. So thanks for the listen

Taking extra RBs for value is always a strategy worth pursuing, even if it means taking a 3rd or 4th RB over a 2nd or 3rd WR (or QB or TE) in the early to mid rounds of the draft.
Come playoff time other managers will be desperate for starting RBs and there just won't be enough to go around.
You can always find a solid starting QB in the 8+ rounds, so no need to reach unless the value is insane.
