Bills tight end Charles Clay left Sunday’s game with a knee injury and he didn’t wait long to have surgery to address his injuries. PFT has learned, via a league source, that Clay diagnosed with a torn meniscus and sprained MCL. He had surgery to repair the injury on Monday and coach Sean McDermott told the media that he anticipates being without Clay for multiple weeks.

It appears the Vikings will have Sam Bradford back at quarterback on Monday night. In a production meeting on Sunday night, Zimmer told ESPN’s broadcast crew he anticipates Bradford starting at quarterback, three weeks after a knee injury first kept Bradford out against the Pittsburgh Steelers. A second opinion on the quarterback’s left knee on Sept. 22 confirmed the Vikings’ belief that Bradford would not need surgery on his knee, and after taking last week off to rest, Bradford participated in all three of the Vikings’ practices this week (albeit in a limited fashion).

49ers RB Carlos Hyde was replaced by rookie Matt Brieda for much of the game as coach Kyle Shanahan said he went with the "hot hand." Breida out-snapped Hyde, 34 to 32. Breida earned 10 carries for 49 yards and was a hair shy of breaking off a long run. Hyde meanwhile carried just eight times for 11 yards.

Tight end Travis Kelce sat out the second half with a concussion. It’s too early to tell if Kelce will be able to play next Sunday when the Chiefs take on the Steelers at Arrowhead. Kelce has to pass a five step process before he can play again and on average, NFL players miss about one of two games after a concussion. Kelce went up for a great catch in the second quarter but when he came down, Texan defender Marcus Gilchrist hit him helmet to helmet, causing Kelce’s neck to snap and then bounce against the turf. He was taken off the field and immediately began the NFL concussion protocol.

Is it not obvious his hip isn’t 100%?

#Jets  RB Bilal Powell has a calf strain, per Todd Bowles. He's day-to-day. Have to figure he'll be severely limited IF he plays vs Patriots

Elijah McGuire logged 13 touches on 68% of the snaps in Week 5.

Even though he went 0/0 (four targets) in Week 5, Evan Engram’s snap rate (83%) and route/dropback (81%) remained high. Huge role incoming.

Marshall and Shep likely out multiple weeks. Odell done for year

He practiced in full on Friday and had no injury designation going into the game.

“That wasn’t injury-related,” Hyde said, via the Sacramento Bee. “That was just the coach’s call. … I don’t like it, but my boy, Matt, he’s a good back. So he did a good job going in there and making plays and stuff.”

Eta: I'm not saying it wasn't injury related, I hope it was. Just sharing what Hyde himself said. I have Hyde and would like to see him go back to being the workhorse.

He's an impending free agent in a contract year. He knows he needs to be on the filed. Classic case of trying to play through it. The decreased work load is likely related to ineffectiveness with the hip injury

Shannhan will hide behind "hot hand" if Hyde isn't going to disclose how much the injury is affecting him
