Week 5 sit/start

Picked up Godwin off waivers a couple weeks ago to stash. I have Egbuka. Going against Baker this week. Thinking about starting both to negate Baker TD pass points. Especially with Godwin getting 10 targets last week.
I’d have to bench either Sutton (vs Eagles D) or Keenan Allen (vs Washington D) to play Godwin. Thinking Sutton.
Thoughts?

A few points I would like to make
1. Offsetting your opponent’s players makes more sense if you have the QB of his WR. Then you are only fading a rushing TD from the WR. Mayfield could throw for 4 TDs and Godwin could put up a 0.
2. Offsetting makes more sense if you are trying to hold on to a lead. Say you can play either Goff or Stafford in the MNF game, you have a 20 point lead, and your opponent has Puka. In this case, Stafford as the play is a strategic advantage.
3. In a vacuum, the goal is to score the most points. Sutton and Allen have been putting up lots of points and are just flat out better plays than Godwin. They are both ranked considerably higher this week.
Conclusion: I don’t see any valid reason to start Godwin here

Thanks! That makes sense. I was hyped by Godwin’s 10 targets from last week so started to second guess myself.
It’s probably best to wait until Godwin puts up some valid production before I start plugging him.

My 3rd WR is wide open but I can also put a flex in that spot. My options are
Jameson Williams
Kraft-GB TE
Ridley
Bateman
Hunter Henry

Logical argument and conclusion. Now I’m going to plug Godwin into my line-ups. If it was discussed and agreed upon in here, the opposite will happen.

Ppr need 2 of White,Monty,Marks

since it's ppr might go with white for sure. then decide between monty/marks, but i don't want to give wrong advice. what's your gut telling you?

I'd go White and Monty. I like Marks perhaps over Monty most weeks, but have a feeling Lions are gonna get a lead over the Bengals and pound it. That's a Monty game.

My gut is telling me against a shite bengals defense Dan Campbell will make sure Monty rebounds after last week vs the Browns. I could see 2nd half of that game Detroit just pounding the run game up big. White has the tougher matchup compared to Woody but not sure i can trust Woody over white this week

Marks or T.warren half PPR?

1 PPR TE Help
Henry or Ertz
Neither have great matchups. Currently, have Henry starting but I do have Jayden as my QB so I could stack the points with Ertz. Who would you go with?

Michael Pittman Jr or Tony Pollard at Flex?

Yeah that’s where I was leaning but I’m showing the Bills give up the 2nd least points to TEs. That kind of had me think twice.
