Would it be crazy to start Watson over Tua considering they have tough match up? Going against Hill as well so figured might have a chance if SF slows Miami down.

It isn’t crazy but you are taking a bigger risk. Possibility that watson comes out cold and puts up a stinker.

Thanks, yeah I know it would be a risk and I need to win to get in the playoffs. Think I will stick with tua and hope for a shootout. I have waddle as well.

I honestly don't have a good answer to your question. But, I do know that you shouldn't base your decision off of these factors. Play whichever you think will score the most points.

I am going to roll with Watson this weekend.

I just picked him up

The two QBs on my roster - Rodgers and Fields - are both banged up.

Hard disagree. If it’s a coin flip, might as well hedge your bets and cancel out your opponent.

That being said, no way I bench Tua over Watson. Tua been playing well and Watson hasn’t played in years. This isn’t a coin flip situation.

You aren't canceling out anything. WRs get way more points per play than QBs. A WR can have a top 5 week while the QB doesn't have a great game. The only time you should be worrying about your opponent's roster is if you're planning on picking up a player to block them from getting that player.

This is the same thing as people not wanting to play their QB vs their defense. You just play the player that has the best chance to score the most points.

Guess it depends on your scoring. Non PPR with 6 point passing TDs evens the playing field a good bit.

You may be over thinking it. I’m excited to see Watson, but I’d leave him on my bench for a week or two if I had Tua… SF is good, but they can stop waddle/hill. Miami run game is another story (avoid at all cost)

I have this exact same choice. Surprised that all but maybe one of the ESPN people have Watson ranked higher this week. The average is Watson at 7 and Tua at 9.

I also think the Browns may try to run up the score if given the opportunity.

I was also concerned because fins are going to be missing two starters on o-line

The Dolphins? Maybe that’s part of it.

Pretty sure I’m going Tua regardless but I think it’s a closer call than some who have weighed in on this thread.

I just looked at the weather in SF and it's 8 mph wind. SF weather is typically a lot windier than that. I'm starting Watson out of necessity but if I had both I'd pick Tua.
