So about .0005% chance we regret this.

Use AP for 3 weeks until Ingram gets back.

What's the problem with that? I wouldn't give up Ingram for Hyde either.

But you would give up Bell for AP? I wish you played in my league.

Again, what's the problem with that?

I wouldn't play in your league - its not your job to manage people's teams. They gave you a legit reason for the trade - you have no idea how many games LB is going to play.

Personally no. But that doesn't mean it's a bad pay for that guy.

Funny thing is he refused a trade from another manager where he would give up Mark Ingram and get Carlos Hyde... against the Saints this week...

Why would he make that trade anyway? Hyde isn't bad but Ingram is a stud compared to him. Why would you trade away RB1 stud permanently for an RB2/3 just because Hyde has a good matchup this week?

Those of you against how would any trade get vetoed if you have to "prove" collusion? Hire a private eye or attain a subpoena for their text and email records? Everyone would be making side deals if this was the standard. He turned down Hyde for Ingram and then accepted AP for a top 3 player.

If Bell reports tomorrow and AP gets hurt, very likely, the next day?

"Oops our bad..."

you can't use you're own speculation as a reason to veto a trade - its just as valid as the other persons speculation.

This some bullshite, you can't use you're own speculation as a reason to veto a trade - its just as valid as the other persons speculation.

Then you have AP and Ingram as opposed to Ingram and Bell or Bell and Hyde. Is everyone really on the AP sauce after 1 week? Maybe I misjudged this one.

There is another thread about the same trade on the board - so unless yall are in the same league, it seems that this trade is viewed as generally fair.

He might not have Bell at all. I really don't understand why you have a problem with this trade.

The guy with Bell needs a running back. The guy with AP is good and is hoping to score later if Bell comes back. Both are taking a chance to help their teams.

I've got Bell in one league, but it's a dynasty league so I'll have him next year too. But if I was in a redraft league and had no running back I'd definitely be willing to deal.

They guy lost his first round pick and is trying to salvage some sort of value from it by picking up Peterson, the overall RB 8 right now in PPR. If Bell were coming back this week or next week I think most people would agree with you. But notice, while your league voted 9-3 against the trade, you currently have 11 downvotes in this thread which is comprised of people that don't have any real skin in your league. I don't think anyone can say at this point that Bell is coming back before week 10. If that's true, I think the current Bell owner would get the better of this trade.

What don’t you understand about the fact that it is reasonable to speculate that Bell won’t be back until week10?

Like everyone has been saying. That's his/her decision to have not yours. He liked what he saw from AP. Does not like the Bell situation.

I was told speculation isn't allowed in determining if this is fair or not.

Can you explain why this is an unfair trade without assuming Bell will be back next week?

- If not, I don't see how you can veto it.

No one is likely colluding after week one.

You can’t veto trades based on hypotheticals you’ve made up in your head.

Would I make the trade? Nope. But as others have said, it’s not your job to manage his team. Sounds like the owner wants to trade AP’s known workload for the unknown of the Bell situation. Short sighted maybe but justifiable.
