Pretty competitive 12-team PPR

A guy offered me Travis Benjamin + Ryan Mathews for Tajae Sharpe + Isaiah Crowell

Would you accept?

My other option would be to go all-in on Tyrell Williams with FA bid money and hope he pans out.

QB: Russell Wilson
WR: Keenan Allen
WR: Amari Cooper
RB: David Johnson
RB: Latavius Murray
TE: Julius Thomas
Flex: Doug Baldwin

Bench:
Matt Jones RB
Sterling Shepard WR
Tyler Eifert TE
Isiah Crowell RB
Tajae Sharpe WR
Jared Cook TE

RG3 might have a serious shoulder injury so that hurts Crowell.

Sharpe is a rookie

Benjamin will get targets from rivers now

Matthews will be PPR gold if he stays healthy.

I'd do it

Of course you take that. Mathews would be a solid RB2/flex for you after slotting baldwin up. You can drop allen and a TE and pick up williams and a QB just in case wilson's injury puts him out for a week.

I don't think it helps you out at receiver a lot but i would do it just for Matthews

Rg3 being out helps Crowell. Mccown is an upgrade. People sleeping on Crowell. If anything you're selling him low. Matthews didn't look good against a poor D, injury prone

Don't see how this deal makes you better. You shouldn't be trading for more meh depth.

You really think so?
Would you say Crowell > Matt Jones?

Let's talk this out, I dont want to make your decision for you.

Is there a discernable difference between Jones, Matthews, and Crowell? You said you're in a PPR league; those guys are all one dimensional, between the tackle type guys. Your splitting hairs trying to decipher who does what better.

Back to the PPR

Sharpe just saw 11 targets, hauling in 7. That's money in the bank. As for Benjamin, Rivers has never sustained a deep threat in SD. We waited for Malcolm Floyd to be relevant for years. Rivers just prefers the intermediate throws. He will connect with TB on occasion, but all things point to Sharpe hauling in balls in bulk.

So I ask you - why not just bump Baldwin to WR, and play the mathchup in your flex w Sharpe, Shepard (Saints next week, done), Crowell etc

IMO, that's just a crummy, reactionary trade to be making in W1. Doesn't do much for you. Be patient, reevaluate in a few weeks. Guys like Sharpe, Shepard, Crowell, Jones could be good players for you, or prime trade targets. And you get Eiffert back. If you're going to make a deal NOW, you need to send out to and get 1. Get a guy that stands out from the guys on your bench.
