In a 12 man super-flex dynasty league going into 2nd year (first rookie draft)…my QBs are Dak and Fields.

Someone wants to trade me DJ Moore for my 5th pick in the draft. What do you think?

2 top tier QBs
2 top tier RBs
1 top tier WR

You’re drafting inside the major tier break

Hell, Moore falls after the next tier break

Value-wise you can get more, but I understand the question since your QBs appear solid and this projects to be a QB-heavy draft

What other assets do they have that they could add to DJ Moore, possibly a late 1st to early 2nd rounder or a RB/WR3.

No way I’m moving 1.5 for Moore in a loaded draft. You need 3 QBs in super flex, if one of the big 3 fall to you that’s a great get at 5

I’m trying to offload DJ Moore myself in a couple leagues and would be thrilled with 1.06-1.09 in return but that just isn’t happening. Definitely wouldn’t give the 1.05 for him if I was you. Decent chance of JSN being there as the clear cut WR1 in this class.

If you DO trade that pick you could/should get better return than DJ Moore imo

Thanks all! If you were gonna add something to counter to the DJ Moore offer…what would it be?

Probably doesn’t exactly answer your question but I would think about what the cost of moving up from 1.08/1.09 to 1.05 is and take that value on top of DJ Moore.

As somebody else said, there seems to be a solid tier break somewhere between 1.05 and 1.08 depending on how the chips fall.

Early 2nd? 2024 1st (even if you have to toss in a 3rd or something)? Wouldn’t hurt to have that discussion

I don't play in SF, but you're looking at getting either JSN or Gibbs with that pick assuming the QBs go 2-3-4 after Bijan. If a QB drops to you, great. I would want at least one more and then maybe a developmental guy/backup given your two options right now.

I do think Moore is being undervalued though. He will be by far the best receiving option Fields has ever had and should be heavily targeted even if Fields is an awful passer like last year.

It’s difficult to say without being familiar with both rosters. Personally, Moore doesn’t move the needle for me and I’d need the other owner’s 1st plus another young talent to even entertain the trade.
