Conner is in concussion protocol. Steelers are saying it happened during the 4th quarter. He left the game for the medical tent in the 3rd quarter.
My opinion here: league is going to investigate this bc it looks like he suffered the concussion during the 3rd quarter, they misdiagnosed him, then later properly diagnosed him and took him out.
2nd opinion here: don’t think Stevan Ridley is a fantastic pickup if Conner misses next game and Bell doesn’t come back. He didn’t look anywhere near as good as Conner. But obviously the volume and strength of the offense makes him a decent play

The rookie from nc state will get the start, have a solid game, and his fantasy owners will huff and puff that he should be the bell cow over both bell and connors.

Stevan Ridley has been a solid NFL RB before and he went 8/26 last night. Sample size is an issue, but Conner was 13/65 in the same game. Conner is a good NFL back and you gotta accept that B. Also Saunders was 5/7 in this same game

Connors is good but people are acting like this is a dak /tony romo situation where the backup comes in and plays good and keeps the job. But in actuality bell is more equivalent to a Aaron Rodger or drew brees/top 3/ elite kinda guy the chances of players of that caliber losing their job to the backup are very very low. Bell is the better player and it’s not particularly close.
