I got him in the 12th and Alex Smith in the 13th.

Vick could end up as a top 12 QB and Alex Smith has one of the easiest schedules in the NFL

Anybody who thought Vick was going to sit under Chip Kelly is cray cray.

But how long is his leash if they/he get off to a slow start?

Vick gives them the best chance to win. He is still phenomenal when he has the necessary protection.

Wat

He completed more than 60% of his passes once in his career

His career 56% completion percentage would've put him as the 29th most accurate passer in the NFL last season

You can sell people on his running ability. But the more times he has it, the more chance he has to get hurt. He's a huge risk unless he comes dirt cheap.

Thus the dual threat. In that offense, he is another fast weapon.

I don't draft under the assumption of injury.

That's what 70% of this thread alludes to.

I'd draft Vick once we got into the Josh Freeman tier.

If that's the case Vick is a 4th/5th round QB for you and McFadden is a 1st rounder?

It's not really assuming injury with Vick. Vick played 16 games once in ten years and the most games he's played in since 2006 is 13.

Fantasy stud, top 5 QB, better than Kaepernick and Wilson? Idk. Kaep and Wilson have already proven to be better passers after one year than Vick in ten years. And they have the same running ability if not better (Kaep).

I don't assume they will get injured, but how late you are able to get them is part of what makes them attractive. I don't take players 2-3 rounds ahead of their ADP just because I think they'll have good years.

Not in my posts, bro. But rather than take Kaep and Wilson early, I'll wait for Vick and a suitable backup.

Vick officially named starter. Lulz.

I think Wilson may have proven himself. Not so sure about Kaep

Vick his first 8 games :

1825 passing yards, 10 TDs

Kaep his last 8 games:

1725 passing yards, 10 TDs

Plus, I think the Eagles will be leaning on their offense more. SF doesn't necessarily have to be aggressive on offense.

How one calls Kaepernick proven, but Martin not, is beyond me.

I said proven to be a better passer. As in his completion % had already matched Vicks career high.

May be fool's gold, but he's looked like a different player thus far.

Not sure how completion % got mixed in this convo. I can see him ending the season with similar fantasy numbers to Kaep

Career 56% passer. Which isn't phenomenal, it's terrible
