Thinking about dropping Kelley/Lewis/Shepard for a defense

My opponent this week has his only rostered defense on a bye. So I'm thinking about maybe picking up a second defense to block him (my starting defense is KC). The three players I'd consider dropping are:
Rob Kelley
Dion Lewis
Sterling Shepard
10 Team, Standard, Keeper league
1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 2 R/W/T (no required TE)
7-3, 2nd place
Current Roster:
QB: Big Ben
RB: DeMarco, Miller, Ingram, Martin, Prosise, Kelley, Lewis
WR: Jordy, Dez, Crabtree, Michael Thomas, Moncrief, Shepard, Watkins (IR)
Available Defenses on the WW that I'd consider picking up:
Minnesota
Miami
Rob Kelley
Dion Lewis
Sterling Shepard

You definitely can't drop a starting RB in Lewis just to pick up a defense you're not even going to use. I wouldn't drop Lewis either. That's a lottery ticket.

To add to the situation, if I picked up either Miami or Minnesota, I might hang onto them for their playoff schedule:

drop shepard for MIA. i don't see you starting shepard unless OBJ gets hurt.
