Wow, the Bears have a tough choice here with so many good options left on the board. However, the makeover on defense must continue, and I'd be very surprised if they went offense at 14. Mosley? Pryor? Clinton-Dix? Gilbert? You can't go wrong with any of those guys. And, Emery is always known to throw a few curveballs here and there. But, it all starts up front for Chicago...

With the 14th pick in the Everybody Loves Chicken 2014 Mock Draft the Chicago Bears select...

Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh, 6-1, 285

What's not to like about this guy? Seems like a "clean" prospect who produced in college and did great at the combine. Am I worried about his height? No way, he's got long arms so he'll be fine.

Donald is a guy that will only appeal to a few teams this high due to scheme fit, but he's damn good in a system that wants DTs to fly up field.

Yep Dan, agreed, I could also see him going to the Cowboys.

He seems like the obvious choice for Chicago and their system, which means he probably won't be their pick. Seems TOO perfect.

It was the Mike Evans pick that threw everything out of whack.
+1 Mike Evans will fall out of the top 10 IMO

Why didn't the Bills take him at 9?
Bills need play makers. It was very tempting, but I believe this draft is linemen heavy...pun intended. The Giants on the other hand, needed a Blind Side tackle really, really bad.

Dude wanted a red zone target instead.
Bingo. Goodwin and Woods just aren't monsters in the red zone. If Ebron can keep his head straight, Jimmy Graham 2.0.

Was LSU in play for Robinson before he committed to Auburn?
Very much so. Pretty much came down to the wire. I almost cried like a baby when he chose that Auburn hat. Pretty sure La'eL Collins is the reason for that.

With the 15th pick in the 2014 MSB NFL Draft the Pittsburgh Steelers select..

Justin Gilbert, CB/Playmaker, Oklahoma State

This is one of those special times when value meets need. Gilbert is probably my favorite player in this draft from a play style, ability, size-athleticism combo, and potential stand point. Every year everybody gets a certain play they develop a man crush for, well...anyways he's a player that can be an instant impact on an aging unit for the Steelers. Couple his athleticism and coverage along with return skills he could be an impact playmaker quick for any team.

Yep, Chicago, Tampa, Dallas were the 3 I figured would be most interested.

I like the pick.
