What part of Hawes is way better than Speights do you guys not get?
And they play the same position so its not a positional need thing.

And why the frick are there objections to this trade? There is nothing objectionable at all in this.
these are two players. straight up. both are owned in 60% to 70% of leagues. And both have a little bit of upside. similar stats. similar postion. You don't get more even than this.
the people in this league are fricking unbelievable sometimes.

Hawes gets 30 minutes per and Speights gets 20
The only significant upgrade with Speights is better FG%
There is no reason why McCain should make this trade.
He is out of it and just fed you a player that significantly improves your team...especially since its your thinnest position

i don't see what's wrong. hawes isn't a world beater, and speights, imo, has more upside which is why mccain probably did the deal.

Exactly - McCain extracted no value. If you are out of it you have to trade for something more than a guy with negligible upside - a non-keeper.
