No it's not. It's futuristic thinking. I'm tired of teams who have lost having better accesss and opportunities then teams that stay in the hunt to win. In the end, there S only one winner, and almost all playoff contenders have sold out to to compete.
There will be 5 teams who will be behind the 8 ball next season even though they played the full seaso, and wrre better and more successful owners than the 6 who didn't make the playoffs.
Why should these 6 teams who failed have a better opportunity the next year than the ones who didn't?
There has to be a limit. And I don't think having the playoffs and end of the regular season be that limit is an unfair one. I think all dropped players remain in the dropped poll until draft.
No one should be able to just pick up what they want without having a seasonal w-l stake in the matter

That's how I was looking at it. I know his moves didn't help Jeff directly and that he was taking a chance on a keepwr, but eliminated teams taking up all of the f/a pool on players that won't be kept would not be a good thing.

This is the exact bs that I want fixed with the IR. I'm tired of seeing a Lin have to get dropped just so someone can try to wind playoff game. It's stupid. That shouldn't have to happen.
When I'm out tomorrow, I don't think I should be able to pick up Lin or curry. I lost. My season is over.

But picking up Stephen Jackson and Caron Butler is just interfering with the guys still competing.
they shouldnt be relying on those guys anyway
if they are that good, dont drop them so i can pick them up

I think you get a little too worked up about this bjl.
Despite all the atrocities you feel are bestowed on teams that compete...its the same.guys at the top every year.
That says to me its not nearly as damning as you say.

it definitely happened back when i was in the playoffs. I dont see why its an issue now.

I will say I think you play with integrity.
I just think we need to examine all rules.

well, besides people thinking ill collude with gyno, what other reasons should teams out of the playoffs not be allowed to add players?

Look, i continued to compete even after I was out of it. In fact, the only reason your sorry arse made the playoffs is because I continued to play the season out. If I put forth the fricking effort to win, set my lineup every fricking day, and pay my hundred fricking dollars, I should be allowed to pick up a potential keeper that is dropped, regardless of where I am in the standings.
I agree with this 100%.

I might still make it 4-4, but I'll lose on record. Chris Bosh and his 2-11 bullshite early pretty much killed any chance.

It's a keeper league we have a stake beyond this season. We paid, we participate. You hardly participate anyway.

Bosh is a massive disappointment.
