Jarrett Culver started at point guard on Monday vs. the Hawks and played well, scoring 14 points with five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 24 minutes.
He was just 4-of-11 from the field and 6-of-9 from the line, as his percentages continue to water down his solid counting stats -- he was shooting 38% from the field and 40% from the line prior to Monday. Culver starting at PG is a permanent switch, as the Wolves want Jeff Teague running the show for the second unit and because Culver is a much better fit next to Andrew Wiggins. Culver's stats look noticeably better next to Wiggins too with per-36 averages of 14.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 triples. Culver is worth a pickup if you don't mind a hit to your percentages, but he's too good for them to not trend up.
