lottery available to all non-playoff teams.

After talking it over with the chatpack and in conjunction with Port’s opinion, I’d like to put this potential change up for a vote.

We can start with lottery expansion for or against.

And if that passes, then another vote to decide the lottery process.

What's the benefits of expanding outside bottom 3?

When we initially set the rule, it was to encourage borderline playoff teams to go for playoffs rather than lottery.

There’s going to be different opinions on whatever we do.

I think it’s in the league’s best interest to expand the lottery for competitive purposes.

I think it’s proving to be the opposite.

This year is good example. Florida T should be in playoffs. And could make a few moves now and catch the 7th spot.
But he will finish just out. You want to give him a shot at the #1 overall pick?

Expanding lotto just further encourages losing.

Right.

But the dude already proclaimed himself out of the playoffs and is wanting to sell.

So instead of him still playing to win, maybe adding a player, he wants to sell pieces to contenders.

We’d obviously scale the lotto balls.

I think it would do the opposite. Especially for those teams in the 4-6 pick range.

How so?

The problem this year is an owner problem, not a rule problem. None corrected quick, FLT needs to do same.

The lotto is restricted to turn around a franchise. And we've seen 2 teams in 3 years go from top pick to contender. So, as is, it's been great for the league.

I saw it in Gyno’s football dynasty. There’s less incentive to tank. I thought it was great for the league

FLT just doesn’t give a shite. We need a new owner, not new rules.

Maybe we should implement a bottom feeder penalty

That's a legit line

These Sixers are fantasy gold. Saric sitting at PR22 last 30... People weren't sure where'd he'd fit. He made himself a role

Toula and Cwill nailed it. FLT needs to go. We have been talking about his team/management for several days now and he can't even be bothered to weigh in. I say we just replace this dude next season...problem solved.

Also, I don't think we need to incentivize more teams to miss the playoffs to get into the lottery. Bottom 3 is good as is.

He was a great owner last year. He won tdbbl. I want to hear his side before we just kick him out. Will has been shite in the past too.
