Week high score during the regular season: $42

im not sure about this wording...do you mean 42 goes to the highest scorer at the end of the year, or $42 divided by how many weeks are in the reg season and paid out to the high scorer each week?

The owner with the highest individual week score of the regular season gets $42 paid to them.

ETA: It's an effort to push owners to continue to submit their best (in their mind) possible lineup each week. They may be out of the playoff running, but they may be able to catch lightning in a bottle in week 13 and at least win their money back.

ETA: We could make this a keeper league (3 or so)and have it going year to year. HOWEVER, I'd like to put a twist to this keeper league if we do it: You can only keep players drafted after the 2nd round. This puts all of the studs back in the pool every year for re-drafting; unless you get a guy like Ingram this year who becomes a stud in future seasons.

highest individual week score of the regular season

what does that mean? i still dont get it...

the wording is funny...

this well clear it up for me...

-how much $ will the high scorer week 1 receive?

-how much will the high scorer on the year receive?

-how much will the superbowl winner receive?

-how much will the superbowl loser receive?

If this is a 12 team league(I don't know the # of teams) and the entry fee is $42. How are you going to pay out $42 to the highest scorer each week if there are 13 weeks?

You'll run out of money after 12 weeks

thats what ive been asking the last 4 posts...i just think his wording is messed up..

either the high scorer for the year must be paid (x), or a small amt of money(per week) could go to that week's high scorer....the way he worded it, its impossible

Let me try it again.

Ex. You score 164 in Week 4 and that holds up as the highest score in any given week of the regular season. You win the extra $42.

quote:

-how much will the high scorer on the year receive?
$0
quote:

-how much will the superbowl winner receive?
$300
quote:

how much will the superbowl loser receive?
$120

..and the 3rd place matchup between semifinal losers will also win $42. $504 brought in, $504 paid out.

Right now, I don't have anything added for waiver additions. We could add $.50 or $1 per (unlimited) or just keep them free and put at cap of 30 waiver claims over the course of the year per team.

ahhh....so the single highest score for one particular team on one particular week is awarded a one time $42 prize...

right?

i like how you have it set up...that should be interesting...

Sorta.

13 regular season weeks with 12 players equals 156 individual regular season scores.

The team with the highest regular season score (out of the 156 potential weekly scores) regardless of the week wins the $42. It can happen in week 13 just as easy as week 1.
