Eh, Cubbs, I wouldn't have made that trade with Kash. By week three or four, Kash is going to be reaping big rewards from it.

hmm, let me think about that one - not sure I want to give him up, and I've got a pending offer out there somewhere that might answer my need...

I was assuming you were offered something better than that, and that the offer was made before this news broke. Obviously, he's factored in the injury and is giving you shite in return in case Rice comes back big. Though you do need to do something at WR, I guess. Dunno about Jacoby though, he can't be a weekly starter.

I'll trade you straight up Benson for Marshall.

I traded because of your "advice."
I really, really dislike you now. A whole lot.
And now I'm hoping Rice dies on the operating table. I hope you're happy.

I'm only slightly conflicted about this trade. On one hand, kash has obviously fleeced her, and taken advantage of her rookie status.
On the other hand, she paid up, said she studied, been talking shite, and needs to learn a painful lesson.
Sorry Ambassador's
Haters approve.
EDIT: If it makes you feel any better Cubbs, Jacoby will be the Texan's #2 WR this year. He is listed as 3rd, primarily b/c Kevin Walter is a veteran, excellent route runner, and great blocker. But don't be fooled, Jacoby will be the big play threat opposite Andre Johnson. Look at jacoby's yards per catch and # of TD's for last year. He is crazy talented. But he should probably only be a flex, and not a 1 or 2 WR.

whatever.
I hate everyone in this league equally.

I'm not going to veto it, bit Kash fricked her over. Even if Rice goes under the knife, Kash still lost nothing in the trade. If Rice waits for surgery until after the year, then he has Rice on the bench for an unbelievable backup/flex.

I disagree with this. I wish my Devin hester pick would have been JJ, but I talked myself out of it for some reason.

Rice won't be playing for at least the first 4-5 weeks.

and for the record - I'm not talking to Kash anymore.

Be sure to read my last post edit. You got a good player, just a different situation.

Kash has more than enough WR talent to wade through those first few weeks without needing Rice.

Alright, Kash's biggest fan has spoken. We get it. However, this is your first league too, Goldie Locks and I don't really put much stock in your predictions.

Perhaps I am undercutting Jones, but that was not a fair trade.

Sidney Rice has undergone hip surgery that's expected to keep him out for half of the regular season.
i didn't screw her, I actually was helping her. The benefit I get is about week 6 when I can package him in a trade for someone who wants to think that he'll come back to form.
I don't plan to start him, and I love Jones. I just hated to see him on my bench out-producing my starting crew.

I am more than okay with ya'll vetoing the trade, no sweat of my back seriously.
No good deed goes unpunished.
